A garden built in pieces ends up looking like it. The wall goes in one year, the paving the next, and by the time anyone thinks about where the water goes there is a path running through the middle of it.
So we start with a plan for the whole block, even if you only build a third of it this year. It sets the levels, which everything else sits on, and it tells you what has to happen first and what can wait.
Then the same crew builds it. We own the mini loader and the excavator, so the digging, the wall and the finished level are one job with one person responsible for them.

We are in the Hills, and most jobs are within about an hour of home. We have gone further when it suited, so if you are outside that, ring and ask.
Common questions
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Ring 0406 808 000 and we will come out, have a look at the block and tell you what we think it takes. You get a price, not a range with a question mark after it.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in the Adelaide Hills and most of our work is in the Hills and across Adelaide. We have gone further when it suited the job, down to McLaren Vale and as far as Moonta Bay. If you are outside the Hills it is worth ringing and asking rather than guessing.
Can you work to a budget?
Yes, within reason. Tell us the number before we design anything, because the honest conversation is about what you get for it and what order to do it in, not about squeezing the same plan into a smaller figure. Some jobs are better done properly in two stages than badly in one.
Do you do the design as well as the build?
Both. We will draw a plan for the whole yard and build it, or draw the plan and leave you to it, or just build. The advantage of doing both is that the levels on the drawing are set by the person who has to dig them.
